Dialog Telekom became the only telecommunications company in Sri Lanka to implement the worldrenowned SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
Alan Sedghi, President and CEO, SAP South Asia said that SAP implementation at Dialog was a significant step for SAP India, as it was a crucial win for the telecom segment SAP India confirmed that the Dialog Telekom Implementation was to-date the largest and fastest SAP implementation in Sri Lanka. Dialog is one of the few telecommunications operators in the Asian region to successfully implement the system.
Considered as the premier ERP system in the world, the state of the art mySAP system will integrate, enrich and develop sales and distribution, materials management, project systems, plant maintenance and financial information/controlling at Dialog. The entire project was completed in a record five months, setting a new standard for enterprise wide information systems implementation in the country.
SAP implementation at Dialog will benefit the company’s operations and consumers.
