The Department of Public Finance of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Sri Lanka (DPFMoF), and Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT-SERVICES), a subsidiary of the SLT-MOBITEL Group partnered to improve the country’s e-Government Procurement system by integrating Promise.lk with RainbowPages.lk.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the government’s supplier ecosystem by enhancing supplier availability, expanding the supplier base, and improving data accuracy for better governance in public procurement. In partnership with RainbowPages. lk, Sri Lanka’s National Business Directory, verified supplier data will be integrated into Promise.lk. This ensures that suppliers for government tenders meet high standards, promoting efficiency, good governance, and fair competition.
The Department of Public Finance at the Ministry of Finance is connecting vendor data from RainbowPages.lk and Promise.lk. They’ll set guidelines for safe operations and conduct supplier registration checks for SLT-SERVICES, promoting this partnership on Promise.lk to encourage vendors to verify through RainbowPages.lk, boosting their credibility for government tenders.
Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT-SERVICES) will verify vendor data before integrating it into Promise.lk through physical checks and certification of suppliers. They will ensure ongoing data cleansing, validation support, and compliance with data protection laws. This partnership marks a significant advance in Sri Lanka’s digital transformation, creating a secure supplier database for government procurement. By integrating RainbowPages.lk’s verification services with Promise.lk, it will boost trust and accessibility for businesses engaging in public sector projects.
