People’s Bank’s contribution towards the success of Daraz online shopping marketplace was recognized with two awards at the Daraz Payment Partner Performance Awards 2021 – 2022. The two awards – ‘Best Turn Around Bank’ and ‘Best Debit Card Growth’ – highlighted the extent to which People’s Bank Debit Card customers have increased their online purchasing activities on the Daraz online shopping marketplace. This is a step in the right direction for the Bank and Sri Lanka as a country and underscores the increasing confidence of customers in using e-commerce for their purchases. The Daraz Payment Partner Performance Awards aims to reward and recognize the contributions made by its large number of payment partners in making its business model a success.
