People’s Bank has donated to the 1990 Suwaseriya Ambulance Service under the organization’s ‘Adopt an Ambulance’ initiative. This donation exemplifies the bank’s unwavering commitment to improving community welfare and providing timely medicare to needy individuals.
The initiative was high- lighted by the official handing over of a fully refurbished ambulance that had been adopted and branded with the People’s Bank logos. The formal hand- over occurred at the People’s Bank Head Office before the vehicle was sent to its new operational base in Kalutara South. The 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation, a pioneering force in emergency medical services, has long worked to improve healthcare access in Sri Lanka. The ‘Adopt an Ambulance’ program plays a vital role in this aim, supporting the upgrading and deploying of ambulances to underserved areas.

The newly branded People’s Bank ambulance will improve emergency response capabilities in Kalutara South, resulting in faster medical intervention and better health outcomes for local citizens.
