Victoria Lakshmi, an employee of the People’s Bank, has been elected as the Chairperson of the Asian Netball Federation. She is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Sri Lankan Netball Federation and a member of the Board of Directors of the World Netball Federation. In the sport of Netball, it is a rare feat for an individual to be holding multiple high-caliber positions at the National, Asian, and Global levels simultaneously. This is the second time she has been elected Asia Netball President. She served as president from 2013 to 2015 and Board member. She was a one-time Army volunteer Captain later attached to People’s Bank, and works as Senior Manager of People’s Bank.
