The mobile money platform, mCash, has entered into a partnership with Mastercard to further enhance Digital inclu- sivity in Sri Lanka.
As a result of this partnership,mCash customers can look forward to an array of benefits such as new products and ser- vices.
mCash’s partnership with Mastercard is expected to fuel the reach of mCash services across its 16,000+ partner network by empowering them with many benefits that will further enhance their digital capabilities to serve customers.
mCash is a Mobile Wallet conceptualized by Mobitel and approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to conveniently, in- stantly and securely enable fi- nancial transactions by using a mobile phone. mCash offers services such as sending and receiving money, mobile reloads and bill payments, utility and institute payments, online and in-store shopping payments via mCashQR which has been de- veloped to the global EMVCo standards, bank deposits and digital loans where a customer could apply and get a loan from the mobile via mCash.
