Idea Industries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka to enter into a strategic partnership. This initiative aims to advance vocational skills development in aluminum fabrication and wood craftsmanship across the country. The partnership aims to enhance the skills of students undergoing training as aluminum fabricators and wood craftsmen by introducing cutting-edge technology and innovative methodologies for installing ceiling and wall panels.
Idea Industries, renowned for its expertise in manufacturing ceiling sheets and providing decorative home improvement solutions, brings its industry experience and technological advancements to support the VTA in elevating the quality of training. This collaboration will benefit the students by equipping them with modern skills. It will also enhance their employability and open avenues for self-employment.
The training will focus on improving their proficiency in the latest installation techniques, making them better prepared to meet the demands of the construction and home improvement sectors. The MoU was signed by S. Kumar Rajapaksha, the Chairman/CEO, Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka, and Dilhani, CEO, Idea Industries. The event marks the beginning of a strategic alliance to develop a highly skilled workforce and support Sri Lanka’s vocational training initiatives.
