Hatton National Bank has appointed Paris 2024 Olympian and Sri Lanka’s National Swimming Captain, Kyle Abeysinghe (OLY), as its newest Sports Ambassador, reinforcing its commitment to developing Sri Lanka’s sporting excellence and empowering young athletes. Kyle, who has represented Sri Lanka internationally since the age of 14, embodies resilience, leadership, and dedication. His career highlights include breaking national records, competing in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and South Asian Games, and making a remarkable comeback after a four-year hiatus. Kyle emphasized that support and belief are crucial in any athlete’s journey. He noted that HNB’s backing not only strengthens his personal path but also symbolizes encouragement for every young Sri Lankan who dreams big. “This partnership is about more than just sport—it’s about inspiring youth to work hard, stay disciplined, and persevere through challenges,” he said.
