DFCC Bank has been named the Best Cash Management Bank in Sri Lanka for 2026 by The Asian Banker, recognizing its growing transaction banking capabilities and continued investment in secure, digitally enabled solutions.
The recognition reflects DFCC Bank’s progress in helping businesses simplify payments and collections, automate reconciliation, manage liquidity and working capital, and make informed financial decisions.
Central to its cash management proposition is DFCC iConnect, an integrated payments and cash management platform for corporate, multinational and SME customers. The platform facilitates local and international payments, payroll, supplier settlements, collections and account information within a secure digital environment.
DFCC iConnect also supports integration with enterprise resource planning systems, automated receipt identification and reconciliation, real-time account visibility, customized reporting, multi-level authorization
and mobile transaction approval.
These capabilities help finance and treasury teams reduce manual processes while strengthening control.
Shamindra Marcelline, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, DFCC Bank, said the recognition reflects the proposition developed around the operating needs of businesses and the trust customers have placed in the Bank.
DFCC Bank combines digital capability with transaction banking expertise and relationship-led service, enabling it to develop solutions aligned with customers’ transaction volumes, approval structures, reporting requirements and financial objectives. The Bank serves large corporates, multinational organizations, government institutions and SMEs.
Ishani Palliyaguru, Senior Vice President and Head of Wholesale Banking at DFCC Bank, said effective cash management requires real-time visibility, automation and strong controls, alongside solutions tailored to how individual organizations operate.
