
People’s Leasing and Finance celebrated its 30th Anniversary by launching a commemorative postage stamp in collaboration with the Department of Posts.
Unveiled at the Postal Headquarters’ Philatelic Bureau, the stamp recognizes the company’s significant contribution to Sri Lanka’s financial services sector and its role in empowering individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses over the past three decades.
The launch ceremony was attended by Department of Posts representatives, Prof. Ajantha Samarakoon, Chairman, People’s Leasing and Finance, Sanjeewa Bandaranayake, CEO/GM, senior management, and other guests.
Prof. Ajantha Samarakoon, Chairman, People’s Leasing and Finance, stated that the issuance of a commemorative stamp is a prestigious recognition of People’s Leasing’s contribution to the nation’s economic development and reflects the trust and confidence of generations in Sri Lankans have placed in the institution.
Sanjeewa Bandaranayake, CEO/GM noted that the commemorative stamp not only celebrates the achievements of the past three decades but also serves as a reminder of the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, financial inclusion, and creating sustainable value for customers and stakeholders.
