Ushering in added convenience to the devotees, a Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) was installed by the People’s Bank in the upper sanctum of the historic Jaya Shri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura.
Through this CRM, devotees can deposit cash, withdraw cash and make bill payments 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Under the patronage of Atamasthanadhipathi, The Chief Sanghanayake of Nuwara Kalaviya Ven. Pallegama Hemarathana Thero, the Chief Incumbent of ‘Thuparamaya’ Kahalle Gnaninda Nayaka Thero, together with Asitha Dhanawalawithana, Regional Manager, People’s Bank Anuradhapura, W.W.C.L.R.K.B Weththewa, Chief Inspector of Udamaluwa Police Station, I.S. Kirindegedara, D.S.P. Jayasinghe, S.P.K. Ekanayake, People’s Bank Assistant Regional Managers, E.A.C. Edirisinghe, Anuradhapura Branch Manager, E.M. Thissa Kumara, Anuradhapura former Branch Manager, and other bank officials, as well as customers, took part in the event.
