Under the esteemed leadership of the iconic Harry Jayawardena, Chairman and Managing Director of DCSL, a most celebrated and renowned business magnate in Sri Lanka, has led the Company to yet another victorious performance.
It is indeed laudable how the Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka valiantly delivered impressive figures for the year while retaining its National Long-Term Rating of “AAA”(lka)” with a Stable Outlook by Fitch Ratings during the financial year.
The Company recorded a high turnover of Rs.93 billion, with profit after tax rising to Rs.7.3 billion compared to Rs.5.8 billion in the previous year, an increase of 26%. During the year, the Company contributed a staggering Rs.68 billion as taxes to State coffers, an increase of 18% over last year.
