SLT held a customer forum titled ‘Diversifying your business,’ for its business sector, with Suren Amarasekara, CEO, Mobitel speaking on the ‘Mobile GSM network and innovations to strengthen businesses.’
The company’s converged network of fixed, mobile and Internet services provides total communication solutions for business enterprises, diversifying efficiency of their business. Priyantha Perera, CMO, SLT said: “Sri Lanka cannot truly advantage itself of its growing strength in the field of information technologies, without servicing its corporate customers as well as small and medium enterprises. Connectivity has a significant role in the communication solution.”
Guest speaker at the event, Kavan Ratnayake, Country Head, IBM spoke on ‘Innovation that matters,’ while Derek Anthony, Head of Marketing, EDNA Group presented a case study with the benefits of SLT’s converged networking with their subsidiaries of over 20 companies.
Other speakers included Priyanka Undugodage, General Manager/IP and Broadband network, SLT speaking on the company’s Broadband network and road map and Janaka Abeysinghe, Deputy General Manager/Solution Business, SLT on the company’s customised business solutions.
