People’s Bank officially unveiled its Matale Regional Head Office and Matale Branch. The newly-built four-storey building conveniently located at Raja Veediya, Matale, was ceremonially declared open by Shehan Semasinghe, State Minister of Finance.
For over 63 years, People’s Bank has been leading the charge in meeting the banking and financial needs of the Sri Lankan public. This modern banking complex was opened to provide the most modern digital banking services and further improve the financial services offered to the people in the surrounding areas.
At the ceremony, several customers were granted proceeds of loan products, including People’s Business Power, People’s Spark, and People’s Green Loans. Additionally, People’s Elegance and People’s Excelsior customers were offered Credit Cards, while A. Dhanushika, a weekly winner of the People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai Draw 2024, was presented with a prize of 100,000 rupees.
