People’s Bank Kegalle Regional Head Office and Kegalle Branch moved to a new four-story building.
The new building, conveniently located on Colombo– Kandy Road, Kegalle, was ceremonially declared open by Prof. Narada Fernando, the Chairman, People’s Bank, and Clive Fonseka, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager.
For over 63 years, People’s Bank has been leading the charge in meeting the banking and financial needs of the Sri Lankan public. This modern banking complex was opened to provide a host of modern banking services in an enhanced location that offers greater comfort and convenience to customers. Through the Self Banking Unit (SBU) available at the premises, customers can conveniently withdraw and deposit funds 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Officials representing the People’s Bank were Nalaka Wijayawardana, Head–Marketing, People’s Bank; Naleen Pathiranage, Deputy General Manager (Channel Management); T.G.P.S. Kumarasiri, Deputy General Manager (Banking Support Services); J.D.R Gnanathilake, Kegalle Regional Manager; Assistant Regional Managers Kumari Dayananda, N.S. Rambodagedara and Branch Manager Chamari Gamage, along with bank staff members, Government officials and customers.
