Wickrama Narayana, Deputy General Manager – SME, Development and Micro Finance, People’s Bank exchanging the agreement with K. G. P. Pushpakumara, Chief Secretary in the presence of H. M. Hanif Yusoof, Western Province Governor.
People’s Bank and the Western Provincial Council have signed an agreement to provide concessional loan facilities to Micro and Small Entrepreneurs in the Western Province at a low interest rate of three percent.
The signing ceremony was held with the participation of H. M. Hanif Yusoof, Western Province Governor; K. G. P. Pushpakumara, Chief Secretary; Senaka P. Silva, Deputy Chief Secretary (Planning); Wickrama Narayana, Deputy General Manager – SME, Development and Micro Finance, People’s Bank; Nalika Liyanage, Assistant General Manager (Development and Micro Finance) and other officials.
This partnership aims to support local entrepreneurs and strengthen economic growth across the province.
