During the launch of the credit card promotion.
People’s Bank launched a unique credit card promotion at Kandy City Centre (KCC) premises in celebration of its 63rd anniversary. The promotion’s launch ceremony took place at KCC, where ten customers were presented with People’s Credit Cards.
Nilmini Premalal, Deputy General Manager—Payment, Process Management & Quality Assurance, People’s Bank; Thusitha Wijayasena, Chairman/Managing Director, Kandy City Centre; Jayanath Dias, Head of Cards, People’s Bank; and Nalin Poththewela, Kandy Regional Manager, were present at the occasion, along with a large gathering of bank staff members and customers.
Through this special promotion, People’s Credit Card customers gained 75 percent discounts at multiple KCC outlets.
All People’s Credit Cards obtained during this period were waived of their joining fee and first-year annual fee. Discounts and offers of up to 50 percent from hotels and other merchants in and around Kandy were also available.
