At the recently concluded CNCI Achiever Awards 2011 organised by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel received the Gold award for National Level – Industrial and Service Excellence in the Extra Large category and the CNCI Top Ten Award for Industrial and Service Excellence in the Extra Large category.
Graced by Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the event concluded on a high note with some of the most respected industrial and service enterprises receiving prestigious achiever awards for Industrial Excellence.
The evaluation of the entries, carried out by a panel of well respected industry professionals, were made on a number of criteria encompassing Turnover, Value Addition, Productivity and Responsibilities Towards Employees, Growth and Future, R & D, Quality Assurance, Environmental Responsibilities, Health and Safety and Social Responsibility.
