“Flamboyance 2011” is what Leo District 306 C1 hopes to deliver through their charity fundraiser held in order to raise funds for the construction of a Transit Home for the outpatients of the National Cancer Institute in Maharagama (NCI).
Speaking of Leo District 306 C 1’s decision to tie up with Cameron, District President, Leo Dileka De Silva said “Flamboyance 2011 is in aid of a worthy cause. Therefore, we had to choose a strategy that was worthy of it to represent it to all parties concerned. As such there was no question as to who should handle the communications except Cameron.”
A mega charity fashion show of the year – Flamboyance 2011, whilst raising funds and awareness on the plight of the conditions faced by outpatients at the NCI and emphasising the need to address the situation, will also showcase the talents of Sri Lanka’s budding designers and models, whilst established designers show off their collections using fresh talent. The grand show is scheduled to be held at Galadari on January 30, 2011. All proceeds will be utilised towards building a transit home for the NCI outpatients.
