The Eagle ‘Team with Wings’, Eagle Insurance company’s field sales force attended the company’s second overseas sales convention, which was held in Kuala Lumpur at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel. Over 400 participants including 287 top achievers and their spouses attended the company’s overseas sales convention. This was the Company’s second overseas sales convention held for the second successive year, following the convention in 2006, which was held in Bangkok.
The theme of this year’s convention was ‘First in Trust’ and the need to build up trust was emphasized by Bert Patterson, Managing Director – Aviva India, who was the Chief Guest at the convention. Addressing Eagle’s top performers, he advised them to treat the three words “The Most Trusted” as vital words in the career of a person involved in the insurance industry.
He described the convention as one meant to celebrate excellence, the success and the performance of the Eagle Team with Wings. “It’s also to say ‘thank you’ for the excellent results Eagle produced in 2006,” he said.
Congratulating the participants on qualifying to attend the convention by fulfilling a number of stringent conditions, Deepal Sooriyaarachchi, Eagle Insurance, Managing Director stressed the need for every one to work towards becoming ‘First in Trust.’ What you need is commitment and the passion to do what’s best for your customer”, he added.
