Diesel & Motor Engineering and Tata Motors have introduced environmentally friendly Tata Euro4 Powertrain commercial vehicles to Sri Lanka. The Next Gen Tata Euro4 Powertrain range is capable of catering to all types of commercial transportation requirements. It offers an improvement of eight to ten percent fuel efficiency, improved power and torque, low maintenance cost and 80 percent reduction of particulate matter

The Tata Euro4 Powertrain range comprises small commercial trucks, light and intermediate commercial trucks, heavy commercial trucks and tippers, 40 footer container haulers, light commercial buses and heavy commercial buses. The engines adopt Exhaust Gas Recirculation Technology and Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology to control the levels of harmful pollutant Nitrogen Oxide
