Commercial Bank was acknowledged as ‘Sri Lanka’s Best Bank in 2019’ by USA-based Global Finance magazine at the 26th Annual Best Bank Awards Ceremony, held at the National Press Club, Washington, DC along with the annual meetings of the IMF and World Bank.
The award was accepted on behalf of the Bank by Dharma Dheerasinghe, Chairman and S Renganathan, the Managing Director and CEO, Commercial Bank.
The awards recognize banks that attended carefully to their customers’ needs in difficult markets and accomplished better results while laying the foundations for future success.
This was the 19th time that Commercial Bank won this accolade from Global Finance.
