The Brandix Group recognised an inspirational leader by naming its Head Office after the Group’s first Chairman, Ken Balendra. The seven-storey building was named the ‘Ken Balendra Building’ in appreciation of his leadership and role played in the evolution and growth of Brandix.
“The power of inspiration is central to our credo and has defined and propelled the business for many years. Ken Balendra exemplified this during his 10-year term as our Chairman,” said Ashroff Omar, CEO, Brandix Group.
During his decade of leadership at Brandix, Ken Balendra was instrumental in the adoption of the corporate and reporting structures as well as the values of a public listed company, and in establishing a high degree of transparency. He also provided visionary leadership for the expansion and aggressive growth of the company.
