Allied Trading and Engineering (Pvt) Ltd has launched new systems of handling and warehousing which employ the latest concepts. The company, started by three Sri Lankan professionals with vast expertise in the areas of trading, construction and heavy machinery, will be the sole distributor in Sri Lanka for Torri Spa of Italy. Torri Spa is a world leader in custom-built, mutli-purpose racking and storage systems, roller tracks and air conveyor systems.
According to the CEO, and Joint Managing Director of Allied Trading and Engineering, Rajah Abeyasinghe, “This is the first time that Torri has appointed an agent in Sri Lanka, and we are looking forward to the opportunity of representing a world leader in this field”. Explaining why there’s a huge market for the company’s products, Chairman Mahen Perera says, “The rapid growth of the industrial sector, especially manufactured goods makes it essential that companies should have the most efficient storage systems, enabling quick and easy storage and retrieval”.
Allied Trading and Engineering (Pvt) Ltd will provide a comprehensive service, right from planning the layout of the warehouses to importing the fabricated systems, installation and even after sales service and repairs, assures Chairman Mahen Perera.
