A gala dinner was hosted by Thirukumar Nadesan, Chairman of Hotel Developers (Lanka) and the Board of Directors bringing together many prominent guests, as Hilton Colombo embarks on the first ever renovation project since its inception 26 years ago. Addressing the gathering the Chairman revealed the vital role that Hilton Colombo played in CHOGM 2013 while complimenting the level of service, variety and the quality of food offered to the guests. He believes that with the completion of the refurbishment, the Hotel will be able to gain a stronger footing in order to compete in the emerging tourism industry of Sri Lanka.
