With a 25-year legacy, Sunhill Group of Companies, relocated its Mount Lavinia hotel from Station Road to Hotel Road. It was ceremonially opened by Palani Digambaran, Minister of Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development, A H M Razick Anver and Ulfath Uwais in the presence of Vasantha Perera, Chairman and Managing Director of Sunhill Group, business partners, friends and family.

The brainchild of Vasantha Perera, Hotel Sunhill has 5 levels inclusive of the ground floor where the in-house restaurant is. It can hold up to 50 persons and is ideal for the adventurous traveller to have a hearty meal in.
The first, second and third floors offer cozy rooms while the 4th floor holds the banquet hall. The hall can accommodate up to 200 persons and is built with state-of-the-art lighting. For a special ceremony such as a wedding or birthday party the banquet hall is a suitable choice.
