In appreciation of their long service and contribution to the bank over the last two decades, Seylan Bank celebrated the achievements of more than 200 employees who have completed 25 years of heartfelt service with the Bank.
The felicitation is a part of the Bank’s continued focus to recognize and appreciate the commitment and dedication of its long serving employees. The Bank presented a sovereign gold coin and a plaque in appreciation of their contribution to Seylan Bank for over a quarter century.
Commenting on the occasion, Kapila Ariyaratne, Director/CEO, Seylan Bank stated,“These awards are not just simply for long service, but its a reward and recognition for loyalty and dedication. Loyalty and dedication are the keys to the success of any organization. The long years of service of these exceptional staff is ample proof of the conducive working environment provided by Seylan Bank. As the Bank with a heart, we understand the value and importance of the human resource and we will continue to enhance the facilities and incentives as tools of motivation to our staff. This ceremony itself is an evidence of the Bank’s efforts to ensure our employees are recognized and appreciated for their efforts.”
He further said, “I would like to extend my gratitude to the recipients for demonstrating faith in the company, and standing by it for over a period of 25 years”.
In addition, the nominated employees were given a glimpse of their journey with the bank, showcasing the Bank’s transformative journey and how they have grown along with the bank thus making the Seylan family stronger with time.
Jayantha Amarasinghe, the Deputy General Manager of Human Resources sharing his thoughts, said, “It is commendable to witness the 25-year journey of these employees who have proved their courage by overcoming challenges and embracing opportunities in building the Seylan brand and transforming it to what it stands today. The felicitation is a part of honoring the progressive career of these employees and encouragement to do more as they continue on their excellence in their respective fields”.
