Bank of Ceylon’s two newest branches were opened at Domagahawela and also at Sewanagala in the Uva Province to add convenience together with digital banking technology to customers in those areas.
The BOC Sewanagala brach was opened at the Danduma Junction in Sewanagala town by Ranjith Maddumabandara, Minister of Public Administra- tion, Management, Law and Order as the Chief Guest and Ananda Kumarasiri, Member of BOC opens new branches in Domagahawela and Sewanagala Parliament, and Deputy Speak- er of Parliament as Guest of Honor.
The new Domagahawela branch, situated along Main Street, was also opened by Ranjith Maddumabandara, Minister of Public Administra- tion, Management, Law and Order as Chief Guest. Ronald C Perera, Chairman, Senarath Bandara, CEO/General Manager, C Amarasinghe, DGM – Sales and Channel Management, Bank of Ceylon and A G Sirinimal, Ronald C Perera, Chairman, President’s Counsel, Ranjith Maddumabandara, Minister of Public Administration, Management, Law and Order and Ananda Kumarasiri, Member of Parliament and Deputy Speaker of Parliament along with Senarath Bandara, General Manager, Bank of Ceylon and officials from BOC at the opening of the Sewanagala branch. These branches are con- nected to the Bank’s 631 branches through a centralized network, thus allowing custom- ers to transact real-time with any of the branches in the network spread across the country. These two newly opened branches offer a wide array of banking services, such as: current and national or foreign currency savings/ Fixed Deposit accounts, children’s and Senior Citizen’s savings ac- counts and saving plans, hous- ing and personal loans, special loan schemes, and leasing and pawning facilities.
Customers can also avail themselves of Debit or Credit cards, Micro and SME financing facilities and international money transfer/remittances services. These branches have the 24 hour self-serving ‘SmartZone’ that includes a CRM and ATMs.
