A felicitation ceremony organized by the People’s Bank Staff Cooperative Society members in recognition of academic excellence of their children was held.
The ‘Members Children’s Scholarship Award Ceremony’ recognized 91 children who had performed exceptionally well at the 2018 year five Scholarship Examination, Ordinary Level Examination and Advanced Level Examination.
The awards ceremony was graced by Suvinda S Singappuli, Cooperative Development Commissioner and Cooperative Registrar, Boniface Silva, Senior Deputy General Manager (Banking Operations), People’s Bank, executives and officers of the Bank, J D J P Jayakody, President, People’s Bank Staff Cooperative Society, Nishantha Kumara Peiris, Secretary, People’s Bank Staff Cooperative Society, Padma Mapalagama, General Manager, People’s Bank Staff Cooperative Society, staff members of the Cooperative Development Board, and Bank staff and the scholarship recipients.
