G G Botheju and A I P Manjula from Ceylinco Life Insurance were honored as the ‘Best Advisors’ at the Life Industry Sales Awards presented at the National Forum for Life Insurance Advisors 2019 Insurance Congress.
Conducted by the Insurance Assurance of Sri Lanka (IASL), the 2018 industry-wide competition recognized winners in September 2019 at the celebrations of the National Life Insurance month. It brought together the top perform-ing companies and top achieving sales personnel in the industry to review and celebrate significant achievements.
This year, the awards were presented at national level en-compassing all companies and at category level, where indi-viduals competed under the large, medium and small tiers according to gross written premium incomes of their respec-tive companies. Gold, silver and bronze awards were presented to Best Advisor, Best Unit Head and Best Branch Manager at both levels.
G G Botheju won gold at both national and category level while A I P Manjula won bronze at national and category level. “Ceylinco Life has been the market leader in Sri Lanka’s Life Insurance for the past 15 years because of our investment in professionals like this year’s winners,” elaborated Thushara Ranasinghe, Managing Director, Ceylinco Life. “We require our sales professionals to embody our core values, best practices and ethics, which we believe are indispensable to building trust with customers.
