As part of its 30th Anniversary celebrations, People’s Leasing and Finance (PLC) showcased the diverse talents of its employees through “PLC Star Night”, a special talent show celebrating creativity beyond the workplace.
Following the preliminary rounds, talented employees in singing and dancing competed in the grand finale. In the singing category, Chirath Jayasanka of Galle Branch emerged as the winner, followed by Anupa Wijesinghe of Grandpass Branch as first runner-up and Akash
Kotuwelle of Premier Branch as second runner-up.
In the dancing category, Sakuma De Silva of Ja-Ela Branch secured the winning title, while Wardaraja Jiwitha of Hatton Branch was named runner-up. Celebrating three decades of empowering people and communities, PLC Star Night reflected the company’s commitment to recognizing employees’ talents alongside their professional contributions.
The event also reinforced PLC’s efforts to foster a workplace culture that encourages creativity, participation, and appreciation, adding a memorable highlight to its 30th Anniversary celebrations.
