Having opened in 2013, the Giriulla Branch of National Savings Bank (NSB), had delivered a supreme customer service for more than 13 years and with a view to offering a better banking experience to the customers of the area, the Branch was ceremoniously reopened recently at a new location, at Colombo Road, Giriulla.
Dr. Harsha Cabral, PC, Chairman, National Savings Bank, has graced the occasion, as the Chief Guest, and Prasad Indika, Divisional Secretary of the Mirigama Divisional Secretariat, Rohana Weerakoon, Actg. General Manager/CEO of National Savings Bank; and Nalika Wijesinghe, Deputy General Manager (Operations); A. L. M. Haleem, Assistant General Manager (Operations); Vindya Wijewantha, Regional Manager; Manjula Surasinghe, Manager of Giriulla Branch; several state officers and representatives of the business community were also present at the event.
The first day, deposits were accepted by the distinguished guests, and the first deposit was handed over to Dr. Harsha Cabral, PC, Chairman of National Savings Bank, by Dr. Kusum Wickramarathne.
The relocated branch, with spacious premises and modern banking amenities, including an ATM, looks forward to providing superior service to the local community.
