The annual Kandy Esala Maha Perahera showcased Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage. Continuing its long-standing tradition of extending its devotional sponsorship, People’s Leasing and Finance has once again stepped forward to support this cultural event. At a special ceremony organized to present the sponsorship contribution, Prabath Gunasena, Senior Deputy General Manager – Information and Technology; Ranil Perera, Senior Deputy General Manager – Operations; Neil Thushantha, General Manager – Branch Network; and Senaka Munasinghe, Chief Manager, representing People’s Leasing and Finance, presented the sponsorship cheque to Pradeep Nilanga Dela, Diyawadana Nilame of the Sri Dalada Maligawa. On this occasion, Pradeep Nilanga Dela expressed his heartfelt gratitude to People’s Leasing and Finance, emphasizing that contributions such as these play a significant role in ensuring the continued organization of the Kandy Esala Maha Perahera, one of Sri Lanka’s most important cultural traditions that proudly showcases the country’s heritage to the world. He also commended People’s Leasing and Finance for its continued commitment towards preserving and carrying forward the national and international cultural heritage of significant value through its support for such important cultural traditions.
