People’s Leasing and Finance commemorated World Children’s Day through a dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in partnership with the “Samata Sarana” Community Care in Mutwal, Colombo 15.
The event, held with the People’s Leasing and Finance’s aim of uplifting the education system and empowering the local community, underscores PLC’s strong commitment to sustainable social development in Sri Lanka.
The PLC delegation was headed by Sanjeewa Bandaranayake, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, and included representatives from People’s Leasing and the “Samata Sarana” Community Care. PLC provided a comprehensive donation of essential supplies to support the various groups served by “Samata Sarana”. These contributions included school bags for all children to enhance their learning experience, kitchen equipment to facilitate the preparation of daily breakfast and lunch for the children, as well as clothing items. Furthermore, provided clutches, adult diapers, nutritional supplements, and vital medicines for the elders.
