The Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC) annually organises the Woman Entrepreneur Awards Ceremony to appreciate outstanding women who have made significant contributions to the growth of the economy and development of the country.
This year’s ceremony was successfully held under the patronage of the First Lady, Shiranthi Rajapaksa. Indrani Fernando, Chairperson/Managing Director of New Philip Hospital won the Woman Entrepreneur of 2009 award.
