The third batch of 28 houses under the 1000 Tsunami Houses programme was built in Kalutara recently. Dr. Rajitha Senarathna, Dr. Wicks a donor from Netherlands, Mihira de Alwis, Dinesh Weerakkody and other officials who participated in the project were present at the handing over ceremony. The 1000 Tsunami Houses programme is a project initiated by Ranil Wickramasinghe, Opposition Leader.
