The Association for the Victims of LTTE Terrorism held a meeting to deliberate matters relating to the lawsuit alleging that the Wall Street Hedge Fund Manager, Rajakumar Rajaratnam, was involved with financing the Tamil Tigers. The lawsuit was filed in the United States, under the Alien Tort Claims Act, which allows non US residents to seek justice within US Courts, for human rights violations and terrorism, unrestricted to the locations of occurrence.
The Association members encouraged the victims of LTTE terrorist attacks, from the period 2002-2009, who wish to learn more about this lawsuit and their ability to participate, to come forward and show their support.
