People’s Leasing & Finance (PLC) has released its 11th Integrated Annual Report for the financial year 2023/24. The report highlights the company’s exceptional achievements, commitment to transparency, accountability, governance, and sustainability, under the theme of ‘Great Partnerships’.

The report conforms with several standards and frameworks, including the International IR framework, GRI Reporting Standards on Sustainability, SASB Consumer Finance Standards, the Sustainable Development Goals, the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards issued by CA Sri Lanka, and the Guidelines of Transparency International Sri Lanka. The report highlights the company’s performance and its brand ambassadors, the national team Test captain Dhananjaya de Silva and cricketing star Kamindu Mendis. It uses the metaphor of a classic car and emphasizes how dissecting the individual parts of the business can help understand its true value. The report underscores the company’s effective use of partnerships and business operations to deliver exceptional value. The report comprehensively covers all areas of the company’s business and sustainability initiatives, providing a detailed overview of PLC’s core business activities, financial performance, and strategic initiatives in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
