People’s Bank officials handing over the prize to a winner .
People’s Bank presented prizes to the three grand prize winners of the People’s Debit Card Wethin Gedaratama Thagi draw. V.R.A. Gunasekera from Pannipitiya received one million rupees, A.M. Nandanie Keerthilatha of Kadawatha, Kirillawela took home 500,000 rupees and J.A.N.K. Jayasinghe of Matale, Kaudupelella won 250,000 rupees, for a grand total of 1,750,000 rupees worth of valuable home electronic appliances. People’s Bank arranged to hand over the prizes at the doorsteps of the three winners.
Additionally, 150 lucky winners of the monthly draws were presented with supermarket vouchers worth 25,000 rupees each. Nilmini Premalal, Deputy General Manager-Payment, Process Management & Quality Assurance, People’s Bank; Nalaka Wijayawardana, Head of Marketing; and Jayanath Dias, Head of Cards, together with Regional Managers, Card Centre Managers, Branch Managers, and other officers, participated in the event.
