People’s Bank’s ‘Mahajana Mehewara’ CSR drive completed another project to provide electricity and water facilities to under-resourced schools together with Manusath Derana.
This novel concept combines sustainability with education. Solar panels along with an inverter system and a water tank were provided to Ratnapura, Ayagama, Dumbara Ellagawa, Dumbara No.02 Tamil Vidyalaya. Gracing the occasion were Ayagama, Dumbara No.02 Tami Vidyalaya Principal Krishnan Ashokan, as well as staff of the school, and representatives from People’s Bank, including Ratnapura Assistant Regional Manger G.P Chathurika, Kiriella Branch Manager Charith Malalasekara and the bank staff along with the students from the school.
