In a corporate accountability initiative that is now in its seventh consecutive year, employees of People’s Leasing Company Ratnapura branch volunteered to remove non-degradable waste from the historical Adam’s Peak Mountain.
Volunteers, including environmental groups and school children, removed plastic and polythene waste from the Palabaddala route and distributed over 3,000 cloth bags to the public in a bid to encourage concern for the environment.
