Sampath Bank and Nations Trust Bank have come together to enhance customer convenience. The two institutions are joining hands to provide their customers access to over 1,500 ATM’s across the island.
Now partnering with NTB, the island-wide ATM network powered by Sampath Bank will now include the 61 ATM’s of NTB as well. The partnership adds to the network of shared ATM’s, which includes those of Bank of Ceylon, Hatton National Bank, National Savings Bank, Union Bank, DFCC Vardhana Bank, Pan Asia Bank, HDFC Bank and NDB Bank.
NTB customers will now have easy access to their accounts, 24 hours a day, across the island, through this large network, making transactions even more convenient. Customers of all banks within the network will be able to transact through any ATM belonging to a partner bank at a very minimal service charge. In addition it will enable the American Express Card Members to obtain cash advances via the Sampath Bank ATM network.
“With this partnership with the Sampath Bank ATM network, we will be able to further assist our customers in their quest for convenient and fast-paced banking. Having access to their bank accounts via 1,500 ATM’s spread throughout all corners of the island maximises reach and flexibility of our customers,” said Saliya Rajakaruna, Director/CEO – NTB, at the ceremony for the signing of the agreement with Sampath Bank.
