INSEE Ecocycle Lanka, the waste management subsidiary of INSEE Cement, signed an agreement with the Board of Investment – Sri Lanka (BOI), extending its waste management services to BOI for the next 16 years, up to 2035. Mangala B Yapa, Chairman, BOI together with Nandana Ekanayake, Chairman/ CEO, INSEE Cement and Sanjeewa Chulakumara, Director, INSEE Ecocycle Lanka signed the milestone agreement at the BOI head office.
Sanjeewa Chulakumara, the Director, INSEE Ecocycle said, “Our Pre-processing and Coprocessing facilities satisfy all regulatory technical standards. It is globally adopted for the management of waste and is considered a better option than land filling or incineration as it offers a complete solution with zero harmful emission to the environment”.
Mangala B Yapa, Chairman, BOI said, “We greatly appreciate INSEE Ecocycle’s commitment to providing an efficient and effective waste management service that benefits the entire nation in the long term”.
