The Sri Lanka Trade Fair and Food festival was held at “The Legend” Hotel in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The objective of the Trade Fair was to promote Sri Lanka among the Malaysian Business Community. The trade Fair has been held for the third time.
For the Food Festival a team of 5 members headed by Fowzi Mohideen, Front Office Manager of the Galadari Hotel were invited. The Food Festival was held during lunch and dinner at the Coffee Shop of “The Legend” Hotel. There were over 250 guests for lunch and dinner daily, for a period of 2 weeks. About 20 types of Sri Lankan curries were served and some of the Sri Lankan sweetmeats too were very popular.
