As always, Hilton Colombo is getting ready this season with a lot of activities in store for Guests.
Keeping to the traditional Christmas theme, the gigantic tree in the lobby will be decorated and the famous gingerbread house made with real gingerbread filled with Christmas goodies such as marzipan trees, yule logs, gingerbread Santas, Christmas cake, minced pies, almond horns, cinnamon stars, brownie squares, hampers and much more. All these are available at the Fine Things Gingerbread House.
Christmas won’t be complete without carol singing. For those of you who love to listen to Christmas carols, you could join ‘Voice of Praise’ at the Thorana Lounge, from 21st to 24th December, from 8pm to 8.30pm. Santa makes his visits to the lobby from 20th to 25th, from 8pm to 10pm. There are a whole lot of goodies in his sack to be given away too.
Spices, famous for its splendid buffet spread, will dish out an array of delicacies on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas day for lunch and dinner. Spoons will also create a gastronomic Christmas set menu. For those who like Chinese, the Emperor’s Wok will serve a special Chinese set menu whilst Il Ponte, renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine, will serve a set menu with a Christmas touch! Not forgetting the Sri Lankan treats at the Curry Leaf with an extensive seafood buffet.
