The opening of the Bank of Ceylon’s relocated Katunayake IPZ Branch was held with the participation of C Amarasinghe, Deputy General Manager Sales and Channel Management, Priyal Silva, Assistant General Manager Western Province North and other bank officials.
The relocation of the bank was a strategic move to add more convenience for customers in the area. The Manager of the Katunayake IPZ branch to- gether with staff members of the Branch officiated the event and customers and well-wish- ers too attended the ceremony.
This branch too is connected to the rest of the 628 branches through a centralized network, thus allowing customers to transact real-time with any of the branches in the network spread across the country.
The newly opened branch will offer a wide array of bank- ing services to its customers, such as, current and local or foreign currency savings/ Fixed Deposit accounts, chil- dren’s and Senior Citizen’s Bank of Ceylon’s Katunayake IPZ Branch relocates savings accounts and saving plans, housing and personal loans, special loan schemes such as Thurunu Diriya, En- terprise Sri Lanka loans, edu- cation loans, leasing and pawning facilities. Customers can also avail themselves of Debit or Credit cards, Micro and SME financing facilities and international money transfer/remittances services. This branch has the 24 hour self-serving “SmartZone” that includes a CRM (for Cash De- posits and Withdrawals) and ATMs so customers have the freedom to be able to transact at their convenience anytime of the day.
