Adaaran ‘Select’ Hudhuran Fushi received the ‘Presidential Award for highest Occupancy in Maldives for 2007 in the 300 beds and above category. The award was handed over by President Mohamed Nasheed to the Director / General Manager -Administration of Adaaran Resorts Mohamed Mahdy at a function held to mark the National Day.
The Presidential Awards for Highest Occupancies have been given out since 1995 to recognize market performances of the tourism industry in the country. This prestigious award possesses the pride of being first of its kind given by the President of Maldives to the tourism industry.
Adaaran ‘Select’ Hudhuran Fushi which means ‘The Island of white gold’ in local language depicts the ambience of this island resort, with its natural lush green palm groves that blend with a variety of tropical fauna and flora.
