The latest ‘Mobitel Cash Bonanza Carnival and Musical’ at Kekirawa attracted thousands of customers to be part of a range of fun filled activities for the entire family. The highlight of the event was the announcement of the Cash Bonanza winners. Maduni Malika Paris Karunarathna from Katana, drove away with a brand new Mercedes Benz as the winner of the Cash Bonanza while Ashen Kularathna from Pamunugama secured the second position and was awarded 1,000,000 rupees in cash. The second runner-up was Pradeep Senadheera of Buttala, who walked away with 500,000 rupees as cash prize. The carnival
had a range of fun-filled and entertaining activities organized throughout the day, including Bunjee jumping, art competitions, kids play area and Mobitel services and product kiosks. The ‘gaming zone’ powered by Mobitel 4G internet, and a medical clinic for senior citizens to check blood pressure, blood sugar, eye care and vision related issues were also organized. The special eye clinic saw the distribution of 1,000 reading glasses to senior citizens. There was also a National Identity Card registration kiosk for the ease of people seeking to obtain and renew their national identity cards.
