People’s Bank celebrated its 63rd Anniversary with a series of religious programs.
Organized by the bank’s Buddhist Association, Hindu Association, Muslim Majlis and the Christian Guild, the religious observances were held at the Bank Head’s Office premises amidst a large gathering of bank employees.
People’s Bank’s Buddhist Association organized a Pirith Ceremony. Hindu Association, Muslim Majlis and the Christian Guild of People’s Bank also conducted respective religious observances.
The religious programs were organized with the aim to invoke blessings to the country, staff members and customers as well as the founders of the People’s Bank.
Sujeewa Rajapakse, Chairman, People’s Bank and Clive Fonseka, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, Corporate and Executive Management of the bank, the present and past staff members graced the occasion.
