Millennium (MillenniumlT) Information recently opened Technologies its web portals to accept submissions from competitors to write a software robot, using a programming language that can safely pick up valuables from a wrecked spaceship.
Millennium All-Island Robot Competition (MARC) is a software competition, which will take place over four months, will enable competitors to design an algorithm to navigate a spaceship using the robot’s vision, and implement the algorithm using Applications Programming Interfaces (APls) available in all popular programming languages.
There are two categories in the competition – school-level (under age 18) competitors and open (over age 18) competitors. One million rupees will be given in cash prizes to the first three winning entries in both categories.
